I have added several more well sites of the Cline wells in the county. If I have missed some let me know and I will update the map.
I have done a little more digging and it appears the completion phase has not begun, but the drilling is complete. Will probably be 3 to 4 weeks before any meaningful producion info on this particular well is available. Stay tuned.
Upon further inspection of the permit., The MTN Well is to be an injection well. My mistake.
J Richardson, could you point me to the Hall Well, The Strain Well And the Morris Well block and sections?
Do I have the Hall well identified as Treadway on the map?
Great Map Gary! Thanks. Was there some news a while back regarding the Web well? Some not so good news?
Jack,
The news on The Linton Webb well would be good or bad depending upon the eyes of the beholder. The W2 report was a daily production of 232 barrels per day.
Gary,
You have missed the Hall Well, The Strain Well And the Morris well on you map.
Gary, There is another well permitted that you might want to add to your map. MTN Energy has permitted a well in sec.48, block 26, 2.5 miles East of Colorado City. It is a shallow well going to a depth of 4600 ft. and not down into the Cline. You may just be showing Cline wells.
Gary,
The Strain well is in Sec.17, Block 26, H&TC survey. That is a small block up in the far Northwester part of Mitchell, Co. The Morris well is in Sec. 7, Block 27, T&P survey.
The Hall well is in Block 24 Section 31.
The most recent drilling permit is for the Treadaway Unit and is amended. Here is what that looks like on Google Maps. Can someone tell me if they have just moved the drill site or is this a second well?
Thanks j. I will edit the map.
If you check all three drilling permits for the Treadaway well you will find that all three describe the same exact location. The first permit was the one to drill a 10,000 ft. vertical well. The second one was to amend the first one to drill a 7000ft. lateral to the south. The third one filed yesterday was to change the name of the field it is in. (check remarks on amended permit) The first pin you have on your google earth map is incorrect and the second pin is the right location for the well.
How many “ponds” of water have been built? Have they began to take up the old pipeline just east of Hwy. 208 that goes to China Grove tank farm?
As Ralpr would say, “that sure beats a sharp stick in the eye.”
Sorry Ralpr if I misquoted you.
Someone, who has studied the Devon quarterly report, did I understand that they do not expect production until the pad is complete…as long as 6 or more months to drill all wells on pad? I know they were taking at least that long on Barnett!
There have been approximately 3 water ponds and looks like two more going in on hwy 208 going to snyder, as far as the gas, no they haven’t but I spoke with Atmos on a different project, and it is not going to be used and they are in the process of doing what ever they have to do to remove it, however you know how all the other companies are, it takes them a long time and a lot of money for them and oncor to figure out what to do.
Devon-Scharlach W2 report 195 barrel per day
The old pipeline I am talking about on the east side of hwy 208 in back of sonics
