Multi Well Drilling

Hi I am new to this site. My family has mineral rights in 4 wells located in Wheelock Township. The location is 156 / 98 sections 24, 28, 29 and 16. We have been reading about multi well drilling, and wondered if Hess is involved in these multi well sites? Thanks, Dave.

Hess is operator for Go-Vinger 156-98 #2116H

Hess is operator for Go-Ron Viall 156-98-2524-2, Evertson Operating had the #1 well.

American Oil & Gas is operator for Dustin Brose 15-29H.

American Oil & Gas is operator for Bergstrom 2-28H.

Does that help?

Thanks for the info. Hess as I understand purchased the assets of American Gas and Oil some time ago.

A question I have is: Does Hess drill multi wells on pads? How many? How do they determine this?

This is the website for North Dakota. It is great. Parts of it are totally free or you can pay $50 to get production. You can look up the maps here for your area and see the well paths. Wander around the site and see what it offers. It is quite useful!

Go to the GIS Map and select ZOOM to section. Type in yours and give it about a 7 mile buffer so you can see everything. For your wells, they are close to using the same pads, but looks like they are just a little too far apart. But I'll bet they are using the same road. In Section 14, I can see two wells coming off the same pad. It depends upon the terrain and who they can lease from. They need a flat spot.

How many wells coming off a pad depends upon the geology. I have heard of as many as 14, but very rare. 2-4 is more common.

Here is your map.

M Barnes ..... got it! Thanks ..........I will study this for a good day.
