Can anyone tell me what LR stands for? It is under the column heading of type on my check detail. Example - G R = gas royalty
May be Liquids Royalty. When gas is processed and liquids (eg ethane, propane, etc) are removed, the sales may be reported as a whole on your check or the dry gas sales and liquids sale may be reported separately. The liquids are generally reported in gallons, while gas is in mcf. If you post the payor and the well and state, others who receive checks from the same payor will be able to confirm the exact situation.
