i have around 70 acres in blaine county that i own the minerals on, im starting to get notices of hearings what looks like contenential is going to drill new holes, and im getting offers to buy from different companys, higest offer is 3000 per acre. what to do? need advice please
First of all, don't do anything until you get more informed. The sales offers are usually low to actual value.
I would encourage you to read over the last year or so of the comment wall for Blaine and you will get a lot of your questions answered. Your options are to sell, lease or wait for force pooling. Any of those can be the right thing to do with the right information. I am personally in the "don't sell unless you really have to" camp. You give up the rights of future production by doing that. If they are starting to do the hearings, then you are in a pretty good location and you need to get informed quickly. Do the reading and then friend me (blue icon to the left) and then your questions can be more targeted. With 70 acres, you need to make very good decisions. Welcome to the fun!
Don't sell your minerals would be my advice.
