I have been actively seeking whether I own only surface rights or mineral rights as well. That is not my issue here. I came across this agreement online, between the State of Texas and a private company, leasing both surface and mineral rights to them. My 5 acres falls within this lease, and I am wondering if I am entitled to any of the lease proceeds. If so, whom do I contact to pursue legal action? Thanks so much, any help would be greatly appreciated!
