i have mineral rights to 27 4n 8w in grady county, ok. i need information on activties or anything else you can help me with.
Leasing is about the only thing going on in 4N-8W right now. There are 3 leases in section 34 to your South. Norwich Petroleum Corporation (2) and Turner Oil & Gas (1) have them.
Marathon is drilling a well to the Lower Hoxbar formation south of you in Stephens County. And you have EOG north of you also drilling the Hoxbar formation. EOG has got some nice wells. If Marathon makes a well activity in 4N-8W should pick up.
Besides the 2 listed above, others leasing in your township right now include Continental, K-Rock Properties, Enercore Resources, Echo Energy and others. You could contact them all and see if any of them have an interest in leasing your minerals in section 27. That's what I did after I waited and waited for someone to call.
thank you Don, wont have any phone numbers would ya? thanks again and keep me informed.

Hi Darryl,
My wife and her family have mineral rights in Sections 6 & 17. We have been sent an offer by the Stamps Bros. for 3/16 and an $850.00 bonus for both sections.
Thanks Don for providing info on other companies in the area. Seems like there is some new interest over here in the "gas only" side of the SCOOP!
Don,
I don't know what you mean when you say that the Commissioners of the Land Office will be leasing. What does that mean? Please explain!
Thanks.
do you have a number?

Dan... Several times a year the Commissioners of the Land Office will offer at auction minerals they control (i.e., School Land) through a sealed bid system. They open the bids on one of those sales today.
Thanks Don, makes perfect sense.

Darryl, you might want to start here... https://okcountyrecords.com/search/grady ... to find out how much land (minerals) you might have to lease. You can do searches by name, instrument type, section, township, range, or a combination of any. Indexed data is from: September, 1988 and Scanned images is from: June, 1992. There is a cost using the website if you want to view or print out documents. You can go to the Grady County Clerk's Office to do the research and will need to if you need documents before June, 1992. They also charge if you need copies. The last time I was up there Landmen were everywhere. The few I spoke with were very helpful in helping me find some documents I needed.

Darryl, once you know your section-township-range you can use the above sites to see if there has been any well activity.

One more site to check up on any applications that may get filed around you. There are some special instructions to follow in setting up the JInitiator first time you use the Case Processing Web Application link.
Of course, you should get a copy of the application mailed to you anyway if you are a mineral owner in the section.
i am the mineral owner for that section. i will look this up. thanks Don.
looks like the well was plugged per one of the sites above. will be sending e mail to occ and getting records from
grady county court clerks office.
I would like to talk to you more about your interest. Please message me
