Net Mineral Acres Not Listed on Division Orders

Today I received two Division Orders to complete but before doing so I wanted to ensure that the “Revenue Interest” listed for each one is accurate. My NMA is not listed on either Division Order. I found an online calculator but it appears that I need the Unit Size in order verify if the Revenue Interest is correct? Who can I reach out to to assist with making sure the Revenue Interest listed on each Division Order is accurate?

Contact the Oil company you received the division orders from and ask these questions.

Just had with the same issue… worked with Pecan Tree to confirm all information on the Division Order and became much more knowledgeable about our interest, besides “ peace of mind.” Our figures on percentage and the Division Order percentage didn’t match so the investigation began. After research it was determined the percentage was affected by a NPRI. Pecan Tree was able to find all title documentation that confirmed the Division Order.

@TRISHEVERETT NMA is not generally a part of a DO; although, the NMA is used as a part of the unit participation. If NARO @M_Barnes would consider putting together a brief video (YouTube) on this issue, it would help many members of this forum. This can be difficult for many professionals since tract participation can vary from Permit to Division Order to subsequent wells. It can aslo vary by State practice rules.

@TRISHEVERETT the Unit size should be on the Division Order, but if not, there should be a State database or archive where you can access the information to, if you want to DIY it a little. You’ll also need to factor in your royalty rate from your lease.

Otherwise, I’d call the Owner Relations number for the Operator that sent you the 2 Division Orders.
