I have inherited some mineral interest in Section 22 2N 9E in Coal County. Just beginning to research this. Does anyone have any interest in this area and can tell me what might or might not be going on in the area? If something has been drilling and you know who the operator is it would be helpful.

Canyon Creek has done quite a bit of leasing in the surrounding sections in the last few months. They also have quite a few wells planned in the surrounding sections. Many of the close by sections have multiple horizontal wells already drilled or in progress. Section 22 had some older production but is not online at the moment. You may get some interest in leasing.
