New to this forum ..question about Logan County

I guess about 20+ years ago I bought a small % in some property in Logan and now have been contacted by a land man to "lease" it ..is this common, is there negotiating room on $amount of lease and how do I find out what has been happening for the last decade or two ?

Yes there is room for negotiating , and the terms of the lease can be more important then the $ amount. What is the section ,township and range . ?-?n-?w or ?e

Thanks Ron. I haven't seen a lease yet, I understand I need to put a time element and possibly a revert to me clause, what else is important in a lease? I don't have the doc's with me right now will have to look at them tonight for S/T/R info.

I also want to know do I have the right to ask to see the geologist's report or a list of other owners?
