Noobies Please read, and Thanks to those members that helped

I first want to thank all of those here that have helped me over the years. It has been a pleasure having your knowledge to guide me. In particular, @TennisDaze , @Wade_Caldwell, @M_Barnes, @Clint_Liles and many more. Thank you.

I want the noobies to understand that knowledge is power and DO NOT SELL until you have that. Once you have that knowledge make good use of it.

It has taken me 2-3/4 years to go over every inch of 10’s of 1000’s of documents dating back to the 30’s in 4 states and I don’t know how many counties? Without the help here from those that know more than I, it would never have happened. Thank you.

I now know what I and my siblings own, what mistakes were made before I had a chance to even make a difference and we lost MONEY because of that. I can now, with clear conscience move forward and wait on checks to arrive. Knowing that I have done everything in my power to right wrongs, fix issues in our favor and understand this process. Making the outcome easier for those that will be my heirs.

Again to the Noobies take your time. Ask questions and also answer those asked of you with good information. People are here to help you. Let them guide the way. Sincerely, Michael

I would suggest, if you have a good sized portfolio, enrolling in the CMM program with NARO. The course is broad enough for all states. Whether you go the distance to get the CMM doesn’t matter. It’s the education that counts. And meeting some of the great people who provide guidance on this forum.

Thank you so much for this information  what is the CMM?

Certified Minerals Manager. They also have a RMM (Registered Minerals Manager) which is one level below. Might as well go for the higher one to get the most knowledge.
