OCC Pooling Order?

Does anyone know if the OCC has mailed out a Pooling Order for Bess FIU 1-31-8XHW Sec. 5-7N-8W and Sec. 6-7N-8W, in Grady County, OK?

Please add the case number to requests like this. It saves time for the folks that are trying to help. If there is no case number yet, then the answer would be no.

So far, I only see a multi unit horizontal well case 2024-002262 by Continental. Looks like more hearings are scheduled for October.
The cases are 2024-002260 Spacing, 2024-002262 Multi Unit Horizontal, 2024-002264 Location Exception.

Case numbers: Cause CD. No. CD2024-002260 (“Unit 2”), Order No. 743365 (“Unit 1”) and Cause CD. No. CD2024-002261 (“Unit 3”).

Drove out to Section 31 and it looks like there is a fresh

pad and a water line running along the road. They also cut the fence and they have a cattle guard sitting there ready to go in for the gate.

Final protest hearing was on 10/1/2024. Judge approved the go ahead with the Bess well in sec 31. Permission to proceed. Cactus drilling will start drilling this well when court transcripts are received by Continental. My take on the hearing!

Protest hearing was on 11/1/2024 not 10/1/2024 sorry

Should have been 11/1/2024 for final protest judge granted the relief to drill.

Thanks for the information David, that is really helpful.

Your welcome! Good luck!

Just curious. Anyone know what the different tax deductions are for? I get the Petroleum Excise Tax and the Gross Production Tax, but I am seeing a Marginal Tax on the nat gas? It’s not much, but it is still there.

Also, a deduction for Energy Resources Revolving Fund. It shows up as a tax on the Revenue Statement. Being charged on the nat gas, oil and plant products.

This is from a Red Wolf / Camino Pooling. Section 12-6N-7W

Don- the Energy Resources Revolving Fund is money we pay to an OCC account to pay for plugging of abandoned wells and to reclaim abandoned drilling locations. I’m not sure what the marginal tax is for.

Occ granted emergency authority to move a rig in on the Bess 1-31-8 should be moving a rig on it now. Drill baby drill.

Anyone know if the Rig has been moved on Sec 31; to drill the Bess 1-31-8 FIU API 3505125180000 ?

As of 12/16/24, I do not see a rig listed as on location yet. Continental has a rig on the JANE FIU 1-24-31XHW. That well has about two more months of drilling left. So it might be a candidate for the Bess which is also a Continental permit. Time will tell.
