Offer received on Section 9-T3S-R12E. Atoka county. Have been hounded for a year with offers from one company, we have never sold mineral rights before and live out of state, not sure if this is legit or not. Recently received contract and check for $10, what’s up with this? Any advise would be appreciated.
Don’t cash that check and don’t sign that contract without getting an attorney to read it. Certain companies try that tactic and have very onerous results for the mineral owner.
