Do you know how i can find out if Moss Creek Resources would be interested in leasing our mineral rights?
Use a search engine and look up phone numbers for Moss Creek Resources and Surge Operating LLC, both in Houston, Texas. Call and choose the option for “land department” or if a person answers, tell the operator you have unleased minerals within a few miles of their producing wells and let him/her connect you with a landman or someone in development. If Moss Creek/Surge is not interested at this time, you might try to find someone willing to speculate on leasing your minerals. This a a longer shot and would likely require you to make some significant concessions regarding bonus amount, term length, and royalty. Use the RRC’s online Research Queries page to keep abreast of drilling permits and completions and perhaps use courthousedirect or texasfile to try to follow leasing.
