CORPORATION COMMISSION?
Michael,
Thanks. I hadn't noticed my Boo Boo. Somebody needs to keep me straight. The OCC may fire me if I don't change that. They did put me in jail back in 1966. I was driving a truck and I was stopped by the OCC at the intersection of Main St & I-35-Norman, Oklahoma. The company I was driving for out of Ft. Worth hadn't bought a fuel permit. So I was put in jail until the fine was paid and a permit was purchased. My question is: Why wasn't the man that owned the company the one put in jail instead of me??? He told me later he knew he was supposed to purchase a permit but had got by with out purchasing one for several years. Yep, you can call me a 'jail bird'.
Again, thanks Michael.

Clint,
Sounds very much like my days as an owner operator in the hotshot business. Never had fuel permits. Only time I got checked was Louisiana weigh station going into Mississippi. Fortunately I had just filled up at a La. truckstop.
