Mr. Liles,
I have been following your posts for the past week and do appreciate the information. You obviously are well informed as to what goes on in Carter County. If I may, I would like to ask you a question concerning mineral rights that I hold in Carter County. I inherited these from my mother and she inherited these from her mothers mother, my great grandmother of Choctaw heritage. I live in Santa Fe, NM and have never been to Oklahoma.
The legal description I have is:T2S, R2W, Sections 11,12,13, and 24. From what little I have been able to find out , I believe that the area is East/Southeast of Poolville.
I would like to know if anything is going on in that area and would like to get the word
out that I am interested in leasing. May I ask your advise on how to pursue this?
Thank you for any direction you can give me.

Ms. Apodaca,
I don't have that kind of information. I would say the person to ask would be Rick Howell. I'm sure Mr Howell would be glad to help you. He is a fellow Carter County Forum member. Good luck on your search.

Ms. Bradley,
The Sections you now own are in an area that has been reviewed and studied many times over the years. There hasn't been much play in that area in the past, probably because it's so close to the Arbuckle mountains. There is some new drilling activity going on up north from your sections and if they are successful, you might be in luck, but not in the near term.
Good luck,
Matt
