OpenSSl vulerability - this site FAILED

Hi, I'm a forum member, and a programmer. I just tested this site with one of the new 'openssl' issues test-sites. It failed.

www.mineralrightsforum.com

https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest

Whoever runs this should update the 'openssl' part of the site, please

IMMEDIATELY

I'll add that the Texas RRC site gets a "B" - we (as users who only lookup on it) should be OK there.

Also - the suggested way to handle yourself on these openssl sites is:

Change your Password NOW. Once the site is fixed (they should tell you/us). Change it AGAIN.

If you are using the same password for this site as anything else you want to keep secure, you made a mistake to begin with. Since I did not do that, I'm not terribly worried that my password may be stolen. I will keep the same password.

Changing your password before the OpenSSL hole is fixed actually increases the potential for your password (and other personal info) to be harvested as it puts all of that info into the server memory; which is what the Heartbleed security hole taps into.

have you contacted the admin? please do so as a lot of posts are not getting posted and i'm sure you could help.

thanks

Try report an issue at the bottom of the page.
