Own land & mineral rights in weld, looks like activity all around & want to lease

I have read about looking on the COGCC site to determine activity in the area but not sure if I have put in the correct info. Family owns 235 acres in Sect 20, Twnship 9, Range 56. Can anyone tell me what is going on and do you need more info? We live in California and the property has been in the family for decades.

Noble Energy has drilling permits in section 19 which is directly to the West of 20-09N-56W & it looks Noble has also spudded a couple of wells 10-12 Miles Northeast of your section.

Thanks for the info. I was just doing more research and found there were two wells drilled on the property. One in 1953 that was found dry and one that produced from 1974 to about 1995. It took me awhile to figure out the COGIS maps and the info they provide.

We can still hope that they do a horizontal niobrara well in your section. The drilling is completely different these days then it was in the 50's and 70's so the dry hole and played out production may not matter to prospective operators/drillers. Make sure that you have clear title in the County Clerks office with current contact information on it so that the landmen can find you to lease if they need to. Best of Luck!

Hi Helen, is your acreage unleased? I might be able to help you find a party to lease it if your interested.

Where in Section 19 has Noble applied for permits? According to COGCC GISOnline, there are no permits or pending permits in Section 19.
