P-17 Notice of Application

New at this. received a P-17 Notice of application where drilling company is seeking an exception under Texas Rule 26&27. For “common storage, common separation and metering by well test”. The application further says the production from wells is to be comingled from 5 new wells they are drilling.

Is this something to be weary of? Is it something I should protest?

It sounds if they just want to commingle to save $$$$$. Most likely it is that and no harm to you. Pioneer has done the same with all that I have interest in with no issues other than a slow down or shut in for about 30 days to make it happen. MK
