Payne County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Thanks Phil. I’ll try to call you this evening. Can’t talk from work right now. Nancy

Sandra Could not find much drilling info around 10-19n-6e yet . There is some new leasing going on . Maybe you will get to lease again.

The deed I saw in the records to the LLC talks about 17.5 acres of royalty but no mention of 55 acres. If you would like to talk by phone I would give you my number or I will try to help here .

I have a question about Section 10-19N-6E in payne county. I own the mineral rights and signed a lease about 2 years ago. I’m unable to locate any information about this section. It appears there is a lot going on around us but I am unable to find out any information. This is all foreign to me so any information anyone could give would be helpful. Thanks!

Ron, thank you so much. Is Calyx doing the drilling , or are they simply brokering the leases for another production company? As you can tell, I am new at this. Is the landsman services llc negotiating the lease for them the best person to negotiate with, or is there a more direct avenue?

According to the lease offer, it is for 17.5 acres of royalty rights and 55 net acres of bonus rights. I don’t quite understand the difference between royalty rights and bonus rights.

I have received a lease offer from Calyx for Section 32-19N-4E in Payne County. I own only mineral rights and have been told the offer is low. Does anyone know of intent to drill in this area, or is this just a means of tying up mineral rights for long term speculation? Is that the reason for a low offer. Any information would be helpful. Thanks, Barbara

Barbara There are pooling orders for 30 & 29 and Calyx was ordered to offer $ 250 for 1/8th , 200 for 3/16th, 100 for a 1/5th or no cash and 1/4th . They have drilled wells in 31,30,29,22 & 20. 29 tested 465 BOD & 320 MCF, 31 tested 690 BOD & 879 MCF. Not much long term production information yet . You need to take your time , get the right terms in you lease , and understand your royalty options. A 1/4 royalty is 33% more then 3/16th .

Calyx is doing the drilling . Wherever you can get the terms and conditions you want and need. Have them email you a copy of the lease and run it by the forum first . You should be in no hurry. If you can’t get what you want and need you can wait for the pooling. How many acres do you have ?

We have sec 31 18n 3e is the same as the 31 that tested 690 BOD 875 MCF?

I could find nothing on 30 & 31-18n-3e

We have section 30 &31 18n 3e that is being reworked. Do we know of a update?

That test was in 31-19n-4e . What are they reworking in 30 &31-18n-3w

Calyx told me 30&31 had to be reworked because of low prodution. They have not given up on it. Called R&J 18n 3e.

Devon has not filed for a pooling on 31 so it could be in Aug. if they file soon.

Has anyone heard when Devon plans on moving a rig to Sec 31, 19N, 1W? My indication from their land folks that it would be around the middle to end of August?

No word on rework of R&J

Sorry Ron R&J is 30 18N 4e not 3e

**Wilson #12, Sec. 12-17N-4E, surface location NE/4 Sec. 11-17N-4E to terminus S/2 Sec. 12-17N-4E Calyx Energy. I posted this in March. My brother and me have not signed anything but the registered mail receipt when receiving the initial offering. My questions are (1) what will likely happen concerning Wilson #12? (2) What should I be doing now?(3) Are there others interested in this proposed well I could correspond with directly concerning details? **

I have located the completion reports on 3 of the 4 horizontals drilled from the surface location in 19 19N 1W SE1/4. All 3 show very good production. However there is not a completion report for the horizontal that was permitted to drill under section 29. Does anyone have information if it was drilled and if so, did it complete, produce?
