Payne County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

No permit.

Does anyone have any production figures for the Calyx well @ Sec 11 T17N R4E or can let me know where I could find them online? Thnx

Section 2 does have production . What makes you think they are going from 11 to 12 . Have you heard anything ?

The only thing that makes me think that they will go from 11 to 12 (aside from my inexperienced brain thinking that it would make sense) is the following post from last month…

New proposal at Sec. 12-17N-4E (640.00 ac), Payne County. Proposed well–Wilson #12-1MWH by Calyx Energy LLC, Universal Land Services, LLC, Travis Trimbook, Landman, surface location NE/4 Sec. 11-17N-4E to terminus S/2 Sec. 12-17N-4E.Operator John Podowski, COO. TVD 4100’ TMD 8500’. Est. $2,891,515.00. Offer ranges and is in terms of “per net mineral acre bonus”, 3 year term. Offer includes interest in well completion. I am new to all this. 1/4 royalty but I am unsure of my true net mineral acres. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

In 11 they drilled a well from 11 under section 2 and the production is from 2. They also drilled some salt water disposal wells in 11, but I could no production for Calyx . Only from 2 drilled from 11.

Thanks Ron. I guess I knew that it was going horizontally under Sec 2, but didn’t know how to ask the proper question. I’m gathering that they will use the same pad on sec 11 to drill over to me in sec 12. Hoping that sec 2 is producing.

I would like to know what the average going rate is for selling mineral rights (per acre) in Payne County?

Has anyone heard the BOD or output from the just-finished-drilling well in the SE corner of S8 T19N R3E? Also, any news or intent to drill in the “governmental” section 17 T19N R3E?

Nancy $200 for an 1/8th ,3/16 or 1/5th.

Ron, thank you so much for the information. I will definitely do that.

Nancy Look at the wells in the post below One 857 BOD and one is 134 BOD . What good would it do to average them . Where is your interest is located will affect the price. If it is leased and at what rate will affect the price.

Ron, I’m sure I didn’t make myself clear. I have an offer of $200/A to sign lease. Person also made offer of $1,000/A to sell. Have 20 acres in 9, 20N, 2E. I was just wondering if the $1,000/A is anywhere in the ballpark.

Sorry, don’t know.

Nancy I checked and 20n -2e has a lot of new filing for spaci by Devon . The Pooling for section 8 offered $250 for 3/16 ,200 for 1/5th ,or no cash and 1/4th. The terms of the lease are very important and I mean very . Have them email you a copy of the lease and run it by the forum.

Nancy

Glad you found your way to the forum. We leased our mineral rights over a year ago at $150 an acre and 3/16. Same location as yours. This was on the low side based on pooling orders in surrounding sections but was done a year ago. I have had some letters wanting to buy our rights. Give me a call and I’ll be glad to discuss what I received.

Phil

Randy There are three wells in 8 . One going under 8 started 5/11, one going under 17 started 4/24 ,and one going under 16 started 3/18. No production info yet . Devon has a well in section 1 that did an average of 252 BOD for the first 22 days. One from 1 to 36-20n-3e had a completion test of 220 BOD . 25 to 36-19n-3e tested 259 BOD & 265 MCF of gas. On a 250 BOD well at $90 their gross would equal their drilling expense in 6 months.
