Phillips 66 company is listed on Oklahoma Tax Commision web site For oil on 08-20n-02e. They are listed as reporting company. Not sure if they ended up with the oil or not. I know Devon is also listed reporting company for natural gas from that well.
I found out yesterday that most horizontal well applications in Oklahoma have one of the wells that needs a ‘location exception’. The emergency exception is usually granted so that the well can be drilled at the same time as the others on that pad. But…the completion report cannot be filed until the regular ‘court approved exception’ is finalized. Since the court is so busy, these are considered ‘low priority’ so they will usually be postponed several times before they are made final. That is why I’ve been unable to get results for a well that started selling products on 3/28/14. The other three on the location are filed, but the one we have interest in probably won’t be filed much before we get division orders - in 6-8 months.
Steve, Often, injection wells are used increase oil recovery and to dispose of salt water. However, you are in a complicated area. M Barnes what do you say?
Re: 6 18n 4e, I’ve received 3 checks since the first of the year, they’re getting much smaller each time. I read in the Tulsa World of another completion by the same company with a new PUN and Hildebrand 6-1 SWD instead of the old PUN & Hildebrand 6 - 2MH, does that indicate that we can’t expect any more production on the first well? Thanks
Olena Yes they have.
Anyone know if they have started drilling on sec21 T18N 1W?
Martha thanks for the reply - all I know is the new well is 6000 ft deep and I’m curious what you mean by complicated area. Thanks again
Steve, Calyx has drilled some very good oil and gas wells to the south east of you down around Cushing lake - 300 and more barrels per day with 400,000 or more mcf per day. The Cimarron is south of you and Deer Creek in section 7 runs into the river. Environmental water issues, so they probably have to get the disposal wells in the right formation and areas. You should eventually get better production and more wells. Production falls off fast in most wells in Payne county, but I’ve heard there will be secondary recovery waterflooding which should increase production.
Steve, I’m not Calyx, but I’m firmly convinced there will be more wells drilled in your area. You are in very good oil and gas field, so your minerals may be worth more than anyone will ever offer you. I don’t know everything, but in all my 30 years in oil and gas biz I never seen anyone offer a mineral owner anything near what their minerals are worth, because companies believe mineral owners don’t sell unless they are despite for money and the industry has coined it “a fire sale”. A family sold their entire trust over 5 years ago for $500 per mineral acre, and since they sold the Oklahoma minerals have produced more than 10 million in royalty payments and there are many more wells to be drilled and decades of production to come. So do conservative math, 10 more years @ 1 mil is 10 million plus the 10 mil that has been paid out, so they sold their minerals for 5 mil and they are worth at least 20 mil. It’s sure something to think about.
Wow! Sounds like you really know the business - I have received a pretty nice offer to sell and I ain’t getting any younger. So this 2nd completion might be a disposal well? Thanks to you and all the folks on the forum, it’s fascinating.

Ron, thanks for the info. I actually received this notice but don’t really understand the way thing progress.
Happy Memorial day to everyone.
Thanks to all you kind mineral folks - we are 3 brothers ages 68 -75 (w/ the same # acres apiece), the oldest is selling and the other two will have to decide whether there’s time left to wait or not.

If so, please tell me how you find this information. OCC is just a bunch of confusion for me, since (as I find read a lot) I’m new to this also. My understanding is that have attempted more than once to get under 26 18N 3E unsuccessfully.
Martha, we really don’t want to sell out, my max offer was $3000 an acre. Just been holding out to see what happens. Seems hard to find information when you don’t know were to look. I read your comment about OSU meeting, I’m sure there is a lot to learn.
Hello everyone! I am surrounded by new wells and still cant find any info about 26 18N 3E. Does know anything about it?
American Energy bought that from Calyx and filed for a new pooling so it should be less then a year.
Tom, Calyx can assign leases to AEP. One of the conditions of such assignment should be comparative to this example: “Assignee accepts, on the terms and conditions specified in this document, this assignment of lease and agrees to truly and fully perform all of the terms and conditions of the lease to be performed under the lease by Lessee.”
