Spacing Article : http://oilprice.com/Finance/investing-and-trading-reports/Verticals…

G.Win Sorry about that . Yes mention it .

Barry I found nothing yet.

Hi, Can anyone tell me whats going on in Section 11, Township 18N, Range 02E? Is there some link that will help me? I signed a lease with Calyx but Ive read somewhere that someone has bought them out…is that true? I have received orders for vacating, extending, and changing venues but have no clue how to research what might be going on. Ive seen the names Mississippian and Woodford but dont understand if my acreage is under one of those names or if it is a different well name. Any direction you can give is greatly appreciated,

Question - what are the reason why someone would protest a spacing order. They are requesting a 640 acre and I want it smaller. Any suggestions?

Yes, just staple it to it and send it in?? or Yes, there has to be something in the lease that says it is attached??

G Winn, make certain the exhibit is mentioned and referenced on the lease. Hand write it if you need. Better safe than sorry.

Linda, Try Oklahoma Corporation Commission @ 405-521-2613 and you may have to leave your name and # or contact American Energy Partners (405) 418-8000.

Anyone know what the new GE lab in OKC is doing to address this water frac and fear. http://www.ogj.com/articles/2014/05/water-concerns-could-limit-us-o…

Liz, There is a differing opinion on how best to develop the Mississippian Lime and Woodford Shale. Some say tri lateral 320 spacing is best for the Lime and others believe verticals should initially be used to drill the Lime. Then there’s some who claim the Woodford is the prime target formation, so it’s best to have 640’s or larger spacings. What advantage is there for the mineral owner to have 320’s when a single zone Miss Lime well can hold all the deeper formations and keep them from being produced for a very long time? I saw a Payne Co Miss Lime stripper well chug out oil for over 20 yrs. The smaller operators love the little Miss Lime verticals, because they are very inexpensive to drill and the big operators want huge volumes of oil as fast as possible and have foreign funding so they don’t have to worry about drilling cost to get just that.

Y attorney sent me an exhibit “A” for my lease. Do i just staple it to the lease and send it. Does there have to be something in the lease that says it is attached?? If not, couldn’t they just tear it apart and keep the lease by itself??

G. Win, you would use how many acres you own instead of the 40 in the Exhibit “A” example, unless of course you own 40.

Linda, American Energy Partners, Aubrey McClendon’s new company has it now. http://americanenergypartners.com/ and the section has been pooled http://imaging.occeweb.com/AP/CaseFiles/030778C1.pdf

G Win, Ron’s right. There does need to be mention of the Exhibit ‘A’ in the lease itself. Here’s the Lease example:

It is agreed that this Lease shall remain in force for a term of years from the date (herein called primary term) commencing on the effective date and for so long thereafter as oil and gas, or either of them, is produced in paying quantities from said land more particularly described on the Oil and Gas Attachment identified as Exhibit “A” which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, hereinafter referred to as leased premises by the Lessee with royalties being timely and properly paid. In consideration of the premises the Lessee covenants and agrees:

Then, the Exhibit “A” example reads:

ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF THAT CERTAIN OIL AND GAS LEASE BY AND BETWEEN_________________, AS LESSOR AND_______________AS LESSEE, DATED THE ___ DAY OF_______ , COVERING LANDS IN THE (YOUR EXACT LEGAL DESCIPTION) CONTAINING LESSOR’S UNDIVIDED APPROXIMATED 40 ACRE MINERAL INTEREST. The above are just examples and you should consult your attorney about them.

Has anybody seen any numbers on sec 9 17N- 04E? Completion date was early Jan 2014.

Thanks, Martha. I read the pooling order and if I understand it correctly, it applies to those whom they weren’t able to lease with, correct? I saw a couple of deceased relative’s names listed. It seemed that something was supposed to be decided on March 25th. How do I find out what has happened since?

Imagine the drilling increase when US oil ban is lifted. http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702303851804579559…

I caught a snippet on news nine here in okc yesterday. What I could de discern is that they are teaming up with Devon and doing some research. I will see if I can find it on the website and post if.
