Payne County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

also what is crow creek phone number the one i had is disconnected from last year

Could someone help me with what’s going on in 35-17N-O4E and 24-17N-O4E? Have leased these to Calyx about a year ago. Also, someone sent me an offer to Purchase for $700 per acre nma and it sounds a little low. Thanks for the help!

Stan,

According to the Oil Registry there is nothing currently going on in those sections, but it can run from a month to 4-5 months behind. Yes the $700 is low. I’ve received up to $2500 per acre to buy my mineral rights. Altough it does depend on the area.

Does anyone know about Sooner Investment out of Edmond, OK?

They started pumping on my wells in September. How long is it till first check? 6months?

Payne: Calyx Energy LLC; Metcalf No. 24-1MH Well; SE1/4 SW1/4 SW1/4 SW1/4 (SL) of 24-18N-03E; 251 barrels oil per day, 974,000 cu-ft gas per day; TD 8,669.

Calyx Energy LLC; Wheeler No. 11-2MH Well; SE1/4 SE1/4 SW1/4 SW1/4 (SL) of 11-18N-03E; 528 barrels oil per day, 633,000 cu-ft gas per day; TD 8,400.

I have a lease in Payne County Sec 31 T19N R1W. I know Devon Energy now has quite a few rigs running and one is in Sec30 T19N R1W. Does anyone know where they are going next. Barry, in my section CALEX has the NW 1/4 and Devon has the other three quarter sections leased including mine. Does this joint leasing prevent anyone from drilling in the section? How do the the two companies decide who is going to drill since the deep horizontal wells require a whole section to drill on?

Here is the application for the 2nd.

I see now. The one I was talking about I think is for the same formation .

It can be anywhere from 4 to 10 months. Have you received a distribution order yet?

The pooling order will list the formation as well as the lease you signed.

I suggest you call and talk to their office. It’s my understanding that any agreement between them has to be approved by the leasees.

This is a link to the first Pooling filed on section 30. for some reason they have filed a 2nd. Pooling. They may have left someone of the first.

Calyx filed a second one when they changed the drilling into another formation. That is in another Township.

What is in another township ?

It depends on what they got approved throught OK oil comission and what formation they’re drilling in. In most areas each is at a different level.

The Co. that wants to drill will file for a Pooling Order and anyone with an unleased interest will have to make and election to take a working interest or take one of the lease options in the pooling ,or lease to someone else before the end of the election time limit . 20 days from date of order.

Barry and Ron, I guess you are saying that Calex could drill a well from their quarter section and Devon could drill a well that emcomapses their three 1/4 sections as long as the wells are at a different depths and or in a different formation? Also, could they form a working interest partnership that would cover the entire section and just one of them drill a well or wells? Also, are there negotiations that go on to make a working interest relationship? How do they decide who is going to drill if they file for a pooling order? Is it the company with the most acerage under lease in the section?

That is about right. You can take a working interest subject to the Pooling order or you could sign an operating agreement with the operator. They have them now or have filed for Poolings in sections 19,20,22,25,26,27,29,30,32,33,35-19n-1w

I think they started a well under 30 from section 19 on 10/26/12 .Should be done by now, with the drilling anyway. Here is copy of spud report.
