Payne County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Hmmmmm… Crazy crazy. I know they have been pumping since September. We called and they said that they should have production rate by this month. So we shall see! We have learned, to be patient with these companies. Haha

Now is 25 going into 36 the one that had the redrill? Correct?

They drilled from the south end of 24, through 25 and most of the way into 36. They went down to a 4,000 ft.

Haven’t heard anything yet. I have mineral rights in that section.

Sometimes they are real slow reporting to the public, other than the owners.

You know anything on metcalf rj- 30 and 31? We are supposed to get production rate, sometime this month.

Yes sir. They said over the holidays, we would hear something. This month.

So far the OIl registry and the listings of intent to drill don’t show anything yet for those two sections.

Has anyone heard any talk of drilling on sect 23 in 18N 3E. They seem to be drilling all around that section, (24,25,36) but I have heard nothing about 23. The pad for 24 where they just announced 251 bpd is on the border of 23 and looks like it might be a convienent place to drill from. Any news would be welcome.

Fairgrounds Section 17, 19N-3E; any likelihood of leasing or drilling in this populated section? There was a well in the E/2 at one time but must be dry now.

I called and asked them how they would split the royalties. I was told that it’s by the lineal feet. IF 70% was in Sec 25 that’s what percentage of the production we would get.

Not sure what an override is. They drilled two wells in 24. One to 24 and the other into 25 and 36.

Randy Devon Has filed a pooling for 16 and there are filings for several other sections in 19n-3w. In the filing for 32 Devon was ordered to offer $250 for 1/8th, 200 for 3/16th,100 for 1/5th or no cash and 1/4 th royalty.

Just received Notice of Hearing from Devon Energy

to establish Horizontal Drilling and spacing unit.

Was filed with Corporation Commission Wednesday 1/16/2013. Is for

Section 9 Township 20 North Range 2E. This is located approx 5 miles North of Stillwater Airport. Note to Barry, I really appreciate your insight and sharing it with the group. Phil

I leased my minerals (17N04E-12-4-00000-0, 17N04E-12-1-00000-0) to Calyx approx. 1 1/2 yrs ago. I have been assured that they are going to drill every square inch of land they have leased. Is this reliable info?.. Or do they say that to everyone? Is it usually in the 3rd (last) year of the lease?

Can anyone clarify just how many squares on the payne county drilling map are contained in Section 18.

Thanks

M H (Jay) Goodman

So far Calyx in the last 12 months have drilled or are listed to drill 28 wells. Check the Oil Registry to find out where.

Jay What do you mean by squares ? Where did you see the Payne county drilling map ? What township and range is your 18 in , 18- ?N-?E. . There are 36 sections in a township and 640 acres per section give or take.

Kirk, in regards to activity around 1-20n-3e Devon applied for a pooling for sections 11 & 2 in 20N-3E and also in 7-20n-4e. All three of these sections are right around you. The order was issued for 7-20n-4e earlier this week. the occ ordered them to pay $230 for 1/8, $225 for 3/16, or $0 for 1/5. There does not appear to be any completed wells in the area at this time so I have no production figures for you. There have been some permits filed in the area but they are not super close to you yet.
