I’ve got a 10 acre piece of land including mineral rights that I’ve had a few people contact me about, both to purchase and to lease. Anyone have any similar property that recently leased or sold, or other suggestions as to the value?

Hey Kyle,
Section 49, Block 10 falls on the central basin platform; you won’t see the lease bonus/mineral purchase prices that are seen in the Delaware Basin. I’ll reach out to a few friends that are actively leasing on the platform and see what bonuses are going for right now and get back with you.

Did you ever get any numbers on the CBP lease rates? I’m negotiating a deal on some acreage right on the cusp of the Delaware and the CBP. I’d be interested to see what your friends came up with. The Lierle Report shows the high at $6125 and the most common at $3000 for Pecos.
