My partner and I own land next door to the cryofactory on I 20 frontage in the Delaware basin.

We recently were approached by Eagle Claw Midstream to purchase easement for the gas line. Their offer was insulting. We refused and now they are threatning eminent domain. Can someone give some insight to this. Thanks all.

Eagle Claw has eminent domain power and can condemn the easement and take it. You have to negotiate the best financial deal possible, including the terms of the easement. You may want to use an eminent domain lawyer who represents landowners. Some charge hourly, other such as Barron Adler firm charge a percentage of the increase in payment.
