Thank's Clint,
Sundance Energy is drilling from S23-17N-4W in to S26-17N-4W where my mother and aunts have their mineral interest and will be drilling a second well to test the Oswego at some point, as I understand. Is this what I've heard some refer to as a multi-unit well (going from one section in to the next)? Additionally, might anyone in section 26 be excluded from any production, should there be any, based on the boundries set forth in the permit? The legal description for my mother and aunts is S26-T17N-R4W, NE/4 of SE/4 and comprises a total of 26.65 acres.
What surprised me is that we received notices for an emergency hearing before the OCC as regards spacing, which occurred on 2-1-13, but nothing related to pooling. What do you make of that!
Kind Regards,
Steven
Thanks Clint and Steven.
Steven, may I ask where you heard the story of Sundance wanting to drill an Oswego test well?
In an application filed 1-23-13 (Relief Sought: Drilling and Spacing Units) for S26-T17N-R4W on behalf of Sundance Energy with the OCC. They mention the Oswego along with the Mississippi, Woodford and Meisner-Hunton, common sources of supply.
It came in a packet for my mother and each of my aunts received copies as well.
Regards
PS: We received additional corrospondance dated 2-4-13, from Sundances agent, JackforkLand, mentioning two wells. The first being the Branson 17-4-26 #1-HM and the other, the Branson 17-4-26 #1-HO.

The two wells are the Branson 17-4-26 #1-HM, which was spudded on 4-4-13 and the Branson 17-4-26 # 1-HO, which I understand will also be drilled before either is fracked.
