Thanks Mr. Liles! I like it very much that they are targeting the Mississippian Carbonate (Limestone) formation at over 11,000 foot depth. Why? Because this formation has a strong
history of production in Oklahoma and Kansas via conventional vertical drilling - but the bugaboo
is the undrinkable saline water - but the latest thinking is using this produced undrinkable water after it is treated for frac stimulation. Hopefully horizontal drilling is in the near future - after vertical wells provide more
Information. As for timing of drilling after a drilling permit is issued - that’s been discussed in the MineralWeb forum - so search for that info, and hopefully it builds confidence in your/our goals and dreams.
