Permit question

Saw today that our KOG permit on the hearing docket for tomorrow has been cancelled.

Originally was for 4 wells, and the new permit was amending it for up to 10. Now it says in red-dismissed. What does this mean?

Thanks for any insight,

Bill

Bill, permits by themselves have never been an accurate guage of future activity. The fact that permits do not cost much more than a decent dinner for four, without tip means that operators permit places they will never drill and care little about cancelling the permits and applying for more. Look at the GIS map for past and present activity around you for an accurate guage of your area.
