I have a printed version of a 1945 Reeves County survey map. If you send me your BLOCK/SECTION/SURVEY, I will mark it, take a picture of it with some identifying information, such as a county boundary, and send it to you so you can see where it is.
my block is 55 section 8 township 4. Would love to have a picture of this and all surrounding area too.
Thanks,
Louise
Oops. N/M
Here you go, Louise, sending two pictures. Let me know if that is not “surrounding area” you were talking about. Linton 2059-IMAG0194.jpg (1.97 MB) 2060-IMAG0195.jpg (2.26 MB)
A picture of my land would be great and much appreciated–section 15 block 59 Public School Land AB3386–is that the info you need? Anxiously awaiting your reply
I posted two shots of the survey map for you on the other discussion like 12 hours ago. I’ll go find them and repost here.

Okay, here you go, Aubrey… 2057-IMAG0192.jpg (1.91 MB) 2058-IMAG0193.jpg (1.01 MB)
Linton–here I am bothering you again–I’m doing something wrong–all I got was “Okay,here you go, Aubrey…”
You don’t see the attachments at the bottom where it says “Imag0192.jpg” etc? I’ll send them to that e-mail address you gave me as attachments. Tis not a bother!
Linton,
my 55,8, 4 township was in Culberson county, New Mexico... But, thanks anyway. My land is in Reeves county, Texas....
Appreciate the attempt. Louise

Linton,
is there anyway to copy that map? If you live near a fedex copy shop, they have huge copy machines that can do entire maps. we'll pay for it of course.
Hey, Wade! I just took it to a reprographics place here in town where my husband used to get blueprints done. It’s so big that he had to do two halves, each 42" wide. So it’s like 100"x 84". I noticed on the Texas General Land Office site they have the same 1945 map, which is slightly smaller, but not much. Mine was around $60. I think the GLO was around $40. I’d be happy to get one for you and send it, but I think you would like the GLO better. I ordered a Ward County from the GLO and theirs are really nice, heavy stock paper. Also, they ship them over night for Pennies! Let me know. Linton
Midland Map Co. will send you an up to date map with all of the current info, FYI.
Whole different ballgame.
Yep! No worries…just thought some might like to know that info.
All of our maps are from midland map and Tobin. I prefer the older maps because they usually have the owner names from the time that the map was created.
couldn't see your reply on my iphone Linton. our maps of reeves are 1" = 4000' so the larger the better for us. our current map of the central 3rd of reeves is close to 8' wide so size is not an issue. :) I'll call the GLO and see what their scale is. Where did you get the large one you have?
