Anyone know the standard for offers on easement agreements for pipelines? Such as how much per rod (depending on the size of the pipeline). Thanks in advance.
Say the line is between 4 to 8 inch 50.00 per rod is a standard but you can hold out for more or ask for favors along with the money say gravel your drive or fix a fence or gate your in the drivers seat
Dad got $200/rod for a 12" pipeline going through pasture land in October of 2014. Some say he should have gotten more.
12 inch line. 70 ft easement. 5 months ago. A rep disclosed to me, after completing our negotiation, that he was paying between 130 - 250 per rod. That included reseeding.
