I have a question regarding the documentation of plugging a well. We had an old gas well plugged in November of 2017. It was located on our property in Kay County, Ok. NW 1/4 of 29 29N Range 3 East.
I was wondering where to find this documentation as mineral rights are tied to this. Thanks for any help

There are a few occ websites you can use. http://occpermit.com/wellbrowse/ (enter full api with no hyphens, 3507120073) select document images https://imaging.occ.ok.gov/imaging/OGWellRecords.aspx (enter api with no state code) 071-20073 and press search.
The well may be plugged, but the minerals rights remain. The lease may be over if the terms of the lease have run out, but the mineral rights remain. (unless the rights were just for the royalty of that one well)
