I have received notice of a pooling hearing requested by Upland but I don’t show having any mineral rights in the sections covered. Does pooling mean they would go into adjacent sections if approved?

The pooling is only for the sections listed in the pooling. Check your name and address on the pooling respondents list. Then contact the attorney that sent the pooling notice and ask why you are included. It is possible that you have acreage you do not know about. Work swiftly. If you are included, you only have 20 calendar days in which to answer the pooling with your choice of options. I usually pick the highest royalty.
