Possible mineral ownership in Beaver County OK

Hello: I received a letter concerning purchase for my mineral rights in Beaver County, OK

Everything was spot on except of the inquiry of a Section 1, Township 1 South, 22ECM

I have no knowledge of that ownership.

How can this be checked out?

If you live close to Beaver goto county court house and track it out… Isn’t to hard and if your nice to the people there they will be huge help!!!

Thanks Robert: I live in AZ so that's not possible. But I did contact the County Clerk's Office and waiting for some info after a transfer to another department. They are kind and helpful as all the people are in the Panhandle area.

To bad the rest of the country doesn't have the good ole American way of just being neighborly.

I miss my visits there when grandmother was still alive. Everyone waves, for starters... Thanks again.

Yea sure do like it… When I had to track mine down in Texas county, went to clerks office and before I left the ladies had me with copies from statehood up to that day… It’s a great area to live…

Thanks Michael, I will do that. I had no luck with the County Clerk Office in Beaver. No fault of theirs, just not enough info.

This has always been a cat and mouse game for me. Lots of calls and emails over the years, but most ended up going back to the surface owners due to the lack of activity in several years past.

Thanks again Michael, That was a great help. I have leaned a ton of new info from your help and others, and also steered myself toward other sites and info.

It follows from research that I have indeed received some ownership or inheritance of sort on Section 1, TS 1S, 22 ECM in Beaver County.

It happened in 2002 and find it odd that I've never seen a lease or anything. Maybe just no activity.

I did notice in the Permit To Drill Section, that in April it was granted to drill Section 36, 1N, 22 ECM horizontal and Frac Section 1, 1S, 22 ECM

Is this a all in one ball game, or separate deals? I do have ownership in both sections.

I am completely blind as to what is going on, or to expect.

Can they Frac a section without a lease?

I really hate asking all these questions, but need to educate myself.

Everyone has been very helpful in all my searches and it's deeply appreciated.

I hear the pooling thing all the time, but also don't understand. Is that part of the fracking process?
