I also got some stuff in the mail in my moms name on some mineral rights in her name but they want proof she didn’t have a will how do i get that advice and help thanks in advance
Good question. If something doesn’t exist how do you prove it doesn’t exist? Often, generally a statement that you searched your mother’s papers but did not find a Last Will and Testament. Also, if there has been a probate wherein no Will was admitted, that might also work.

Winblad is on point for your issue. You do not have to prove it does not exist, but it may be helpful to state that you have no knowledge of the existence of a will.
The first thing I’d ask is: what is your need and intent for asking me this.
That is, if it’s someone or some company that you have reason to be answering personal questions.
