New to this and looking for advice. Inherited 35.5 net acres of mineral rights in Section 5 Block 48, Pecos County and have received an offer to buy in its entirety for $30,000. After reading several posts this amount seems fairly low. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Diamondback has been very actively leasing in Section 5 Block 48 T8S. Have you not been contacted to lease?
Also, 4 years ago I sold my minerals in Section 12 48 T8S and Section 53 Block OW TT RR for over $10,000/nma – but that was 4 years ago. I sold because i thought it was a crazy offer.
Hi Betsy, that is on the low side. Assuming we are talking about the same thing.
And it appears we are not, you are in 48 10S Sec 5. That is pretty far off the beaten path. I think I’d just hold onto it and hope vs $30k, but it might be worth zero.
