I've tried searching land records for mineral rights for Stephens County & I can't find details for books and pages that should be there. Where else can I look? Looking for Sec 18 T 2N R4W.
I didn't get any replies. I am on a short time frame. Ended up hiring an attorney to research this as someone is claiming mineral rights that we inherited. Thanks to ppl who took the time to read it.
That is a interesting topic. If you have a recorded deed then I would think to be legally binding. I read sometime back that this sort of thing happens all too often. Some people believe that because they own the land they also own what is beneath it. Very short sighted presumption. So how did it turn out for you and how much did it cost you.
