Recent Offer Letter - Then company disappeared. Is this common?

Hello All. Looking for some feedback. After years of receiving offers for our royalties, we recently decided to move forward with selling them. We were contacted by a company, signed an offer letter, but then they disappeared without ever drafting a deed for our review.

Is this common? Has anyone else encountered this?

We are still considering selling our royalties, but not if it is going to a series of shell games.

If you signed a letter with Ferrari Energy or Wolfhawk, it might be related to the ongoing criminal and civil complaints filed against Adam Ferrari. Furthermore, I think a lot of mineral buyers got spooked with 181 passing. We have seen a lot of buyers leave the DJ, but there are still good, reputable companies around the DJ buying minerals and royalties.
