Recommendations on a Mineral Rights Attorney Utah

My husband was recently named Personal Representative on his father’s estate and is now trying to figure out how to transfer mineral rights. If it is better to transfer them in percentages amongst the siblings or to put into a family trust. We are over our heads in this situation as we do not know much about mineral rights or trusts. We would like advice but would like to speak with an attorney that knows both. Any recommendations or insights would be greatly appreciated.

There is another thread for Utah that does have some attorneys listed.

Keep in mind that you should consult with an attorney in the state where the minerals are located. If the minerals are located in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, etc., then the laws and procedures of that state prevail.

This post is not legal, tax or investment advice. Reading or responding to this post does not create an attorney/client relationship.

I tried to reach out to him with no luck. Do you have an email or a direct phone number? Thank you

The same goes for us here in Utah too.
