Blk 52 T7S, Tract 36 A582, T&P RR
i am having trouble locating it in gis viewer . . . to see what is going on with it.

Richard, looks like you may be one number off on that Abstract Number. Looks like it should be A-5823 instead of 582.
If that's right it looks like there has been a lot of horizontal drilling on all sides. Centennial to the North, South and West and Oxy to the East.
Expect you'll be able to find it but here's what the map of that area looks like with Section 36 outlined in red.
