Mr. Hamilton, I think your ducks are lined up pretty tight in that, from what I see, CPT’s current proposed path will transect quite a bit of UT lands. Seems more than reasonable that they’d grant you the same terms. I cannot speak as to anything above and beyond the UT Schedule. Bueno suerte-THM
Can’t find t-4 permit for Comanche pipeline trail. Tried didn’t search options but get over 1000 possibilities. Anyone have permit number or any other suggestions. Thanks!
DCole, If you use the link I provided in my message it takes you to the Comanche Trail Pipeline home page and it has a route image at the bottom. At one time you could cliick on the counties listed below the map and it took you to a satelite image of the counties with the route and the sections it was going through. I couldn’t get it to work today, Back when I first lookedat, I downloaded the original PDF that starts with the Image with the overall route, and then if you hit the page down key it goes in turn to an image of El Paso and Huspeth county, then Culberson County, and then Reeves and Pecos County. it opens in Acrobat reader and by comparing it to a map with the County blocks, you can match of the sections. I can send you the file via email if you want it. It is a pretty large file (7.52 MB).
I am new to this site, so bear with me. My company owns 12.6 net mineral acres in S/2 Section 20-Block 50-T8-T & P Survey, Reeves County. We have received several offers to lease. What bonus and terms are currently typical for this area? Thank you all in advance-any help will be greatly appreciated.
I have a 1945 map with the Blocks/Sections… Linton
Elizabeth, I added a discussion in the section above this, it’s really just a couple of pictures of Block 57 PSL, with your sections in blue makers. I don’t know how to add pictures anywhere unless I start a new discussion. Wish you could upload pictures here on the comment wall. Good luck. Linton
Elizabeth, where is your acreage from Pecos, please? The dollars sound low.
Thank you, Linton
Does anyone have a map from the appraisal district, showing the current surface tracts w/parcel ids?
Elizabeth, it’s on my wall. It’s eight feet tall! What I do is, if someone gives me their BLOCK/SECTION/SURVEY, I’ll mark it on the map with a colored marker, take a picture of it and send it to them.
Stephen, if you look at that discussion I posted up above for Elizabeth, you’ll be able to see where her sections are in relation to Pecos. Linton
You’re welcome. I agree with Stephen, bonus sounds low.
Elizabeth,
Who made the offer?
Elizabeth, I have now had a chance to located your property. You are just a few miles NW from one of our tracts. You are in prime country. Demand a high offer and settle for nothing is my advice.
Oops…you are to our NE. Point is, I’d be disappointed if you couldn’t get $3-4,000 per nma.
Can I get a copy of the 1945 map, Linton?
Have a bid of$800/acre w/ 25% royalty on 26 acres in section 20, 30, 32, and 42 block 57 psl . Our family has all the oil and gas leases on this land but there are 6 of us so it will get all broken up cause no one will cooperate as a unity. This is higher than the original bid of 500. I am thinking of agreeing because I'm 67 and can use the
Elizabeth, Block 56, Sections 17 & 18 right next to you, last leased for 3,000/nma. I just throw that out there for your information. On the pictures I sent you, if you see that yellow marker to the west, that's the area that last leased for ,3000 an acre.
There seems to be a flurry of leasing going on. We have acreage in Block 55 T7S, Section 16 and are wondering if there is any leasing going on in that area. I know some people have written about leases in the area over the past couple of years but I haven’t heard what’s happening lately. There are a couple of permitted wells adjacent to us that were never drilled but nothing much otherwise. We were leased back in 2008 or so - before things got so hot in Reeves - but the lease expired in 2011.
Can anyone please tell me if there is any activity in the area where my property is? It is C313874 BLOCK 7 SECTION 14 H&GN
