My buyers are all over reeves right now if anyone is I interested in selling
Greetings, Other than the net revenue interest, monthly well production and the price per barrel, is there anything else I need to take into consideration to determine what my monthly royalty checks should be. Thanks!
There is production all around there Amy. Maybe the lake is interfering with a possible surface location? I would make an offer to buy if you were interested in selling, assuming the lake does not prevent drilling for some reason.
Amy,
Donāt be discouraged. There are some GOOD producers in the surrounding area of your minerals. Your time is comingā¦Just be patient.

Lake Toyah is dry lake bed so not a problem. Clayton Williams already staked wells, then didnāt do anything. Itās my understanding he plans to sell his Reeves County leases.
Ann - Do you have any evidence that Clayton Williams is planning to sell his Reeves county leases? I read that they have sold off āsomeā of their lesser interests but I havenāt heard what youāre describing.
Clint ā I like it! Later ā Buzz
I would not suspect that the lake would be a tremendous obstacle, dry or not. It strange that they would permit a well there and then not renew the lease. Could be on the wrong side of a fault or otherwise geologically flawed. Plenty of stuff was drilled around there.
Fred - Its been said that Concho may be interested in buying Clayton Williams interests. They have a stable track record and would be a good company to work with if your lease goes their way.
Can anyone tell me if there is any activity on section 26 block c7 psl. My lease expired and have not received any offers.
Please help! I was offered $2000 an acre to lease for 3 years, 25% royalty, 2 years option. Is this a fair price? Iām located what they consider Pecos East Sec 68, Blk 4, Tract 68. Any info is highly appreciated. Thanks!

A fire at a gas processing plant in West Texas Thursday morning caused two minor injuries and the shuttering of the plant, according to Anadarko Petroleum spokesman John Christiansen.
The fire began at approximately 10 am CST at the 300 MMcf/d Ramsey natural gas processing plant near Orla, he said.
Christiansen said that āall lines coming in and out of the plant have been isolated,ā with the fire contained in one area of the plant as of around 2 pm CST. He said all workers on the site at the time have been accounted for, āwith two minor injuries reported at this time.ā
The plant is owned by Western Gas Partners and operated by Anadarko.
The impact of the plant shutdown to gas flows in the region was not immediately apparent⦠Later ā Buzz
Thank you Sarah. Concho is operator of the āBig Chiefā prospect about 5 miles East of us. Randomly checking production reports throughout Reeves county, the Big Chief has consistently produced over 100,000 bbls. per month for the past 12 months. Thereās approx. 30 wells within the Big Chief with several more drilling permits issued. It will be interesting to see what the future holds if Concho acquires our lease and others in the area. Thanks for replying.
Please let this happen!!!
I have a small tract in Sect 300, Blk 13ā¦a mile or two east of Big Chief and I would love to have Concho take over. My lease expires in Septemberā¦
CWEI initially leased for 3 yr w/2yr option and Iām sure a lot of their leases have the option. I refused the option in my lease which expired this past October 3rd. They called and offered me a lowball to renew.
This may prove to be quite a setback to oil and gas productionā¦

CARLSBADā Five days after an explosion rocked the Ramsey Natural Gas Processing Plant in Orla, Texas, one fire was still burning inside. However, fire officials said they expect it to be put out soon. {more}
Surprised this hasnāt caused any discussion⦠if you shut-in gas flows you shut-in associated oil production too⦠the plant serves more than just Anadarko production⦠they are the operatorā¦
