Reeves County, TX - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Shanti, There is a video tutorial on the home page that shows you how to check for production in your area through the Railroad Commision website.

The last update was under the Local News section.

Mr Jacobs, thank you for your reply

Anyone have info on why Mywesttexas stopped with the weekly well completions, etc. Or can this info be found somewhere else? This was my favorite site for current info.

What a great resource…thanks so much Wade!

I have added an article about online resources to the home page. Please add any suggested additions to the comments box.

Nice work, Wade. Thank you!

Thank you, Wade.

An invaluable resource!

P.S. The wells I just listed below run right through Toyah Lake (not town of Toyah

PSL C-7, Section 24(pad) & 25(BH) - RRC Geo shows 2 Horizontal Wells from one pad. Mrs. M. A. Percy, API 389-32832 & 389-24044 but that’s all the info. I can find. Anybody have any info?

Don’t know the status of those two wells, per se, but they are drilling all around Toyah Lake.

Wade, just searched permits and came up with different name - well styled Ike State. Does that ring a bell?

I’m in Section 26, adjoining on the West. Just leased to Clayton Williams Energy earlier this month.

The wells are 389-32832 (status #715233) and 389-33411 (status #744810) It looks like the 2404H is what was seen as 24044. The wells are the Ike State 25 and Gipper state respectively; no production results on the RRC Texas site for the wells so far.

Until the production results are on the monthly reports filed by the operator there’s a way to look it up by the Status #, check out the video posted on the main page.

Thanks so much Sarah! I’ve never searched by Status # but will check it out now.

Sarah, did you mean I could find some production reports by the status number? I watched the 2 part video but it didn’t mention status numbers. Sorry to be so dense…

Wade, I assume these two wells don’t have lease numbers yet. The 2 videos I saw only showed how to search using lease numbers and apparently these two wells don’t have lease #s yet. Is there a way to search with permit numbers? again, sorry to be so dense…

Hi Ann, On the main page for the RRC go to the bottom right of the page and under quick links is an Online Research Queries button, then go to Production Reports Query and hit the launch application button. On the screen that comes up you input Pending for type and then give the status number assigned the well, it’s on the drilling permit in the upper box. Hope this helps.

Got it! Sorry to be so slow, ya’all. Your help is very much appreciated.

Ann

The video shows you how to search by permit number to get production reports that are in the system, but not showing up on the GIS map directly yet.

I have been offered 1000. Per acre to extend our reeves county lease for two more years. My minerals are in section 25 block c-1 public school land survey. This is south east of pecos near the pecos county line. I have no idea if this is a fair offer…does anyone know what kind of lease bonus money is being paid in this area Thanks. John nicholson
