Permitting and drilling activity in the Richland County area is currently on the rise. Some of the companies in this area includes Continental, Petro-Hunt and Slawson along with several others. Your mineral area will most likely see increased permitting and drilling over the next couple of years. In regards to bonus rates, I would guess $500 plus per acre depending on the proximity to proven production. You might want to hold off for the short term on leasing and watch what occurs with the new wells near your area as this will increase your negotiating power.
Terry- In the 26n57e and 26n-57e areas I know Brigham, Whiting and Oasis are active in the area. Whiting took over the area that Ursa and leases on.
