An ROW in New Mexico is $400 per rod but when you sign an agreement make sure you are very specific on what is required or that the entity requesting the ROW has been very specific in its wording of the agreement. A great site to visit for a check list prior to signing an ROW: Texas AgriLife Easement check list or www.AgriLife.org
What size pipe??
This is what I found while researching the cost for a pipeline easement or ROW in West Texas. A pipeline row is $2.50 per foot so a 4” pipeline would be 4 x 2.50 = $10 and a rod is 16.5’ ft so for a 4” pipeline it would be $165 per rod and a 6” pipeline will be 6 x 2.50 = $15 or $247.00 rod 8” x 2.50 = $20 or $330 rod, 10” x 2.50 = $25 or $412.5 rod, 12” x 2.50 = $30 or $495

Hi Dhara,
Is it possible to get the article link for that information?
This is helpful for pipelines! Would you happen to know the going rate, per acre, for allowing a fresh water frac pond in Glasscock County? Thx!
Does anyone have an idea on the ROW rate per rod at this time? 30 inch pipe
