Is anyone having issues with antero paying the correct royalty amount. West Virginia. (Tyler county)

HI…just wondered if you received replies on this…i am looking ahead to royalties possibly from antero.
how are your discussions with them? IN Denver or local office?
Was the DO understandable? How are state taxes paid - at the wellhead and also thru your income taxes?
…i do not have any royalty checks at this time.

Antero drilled a well in 2022 through our property in Tyler County Lincoln District that we leased to Antero in 2017. They have paid no royalties on this well, 095-027777, even though the State of West Virginia shows that it is a productive well. Antero takes a month to answer an email and then mistakes this well for one in Wetzel County. Is there a legal way to get them to acknowledge their non-payment and force them to pay?
Check your lease for verbiage about payment. There is most likely a clause stating how long they have to pay royalties, and when that timeline starts. You should also send a request via certified mail to receive your royalty payments. Often time the request must be made by certified mail in order to start the clock towards interest penalties for late payment by the operator (again, check the lease for this language)
