Hi,
I am new here and a newbie to all of this, and recently received an offer to buy or lease (with bonus) the above property. The offer was from a landman representing Pioneer who will be drilling this area soon. I have percentages in several Pembrook Units, but am told this area is below the Pembrook Units. Can anyone tell me what is happening in this area? Thanks in advance.
D Lincoln,
I see on the GIS Map where Pioneer has 3 horizontal wells staked in Abstract-241/Section 9/Block N. Wells # 40154, 40155 and 40156 are permitted for 10, 900'. This link is to the approved drilling permit for well API 461-40154: http://webapps2.rrc.state.tx.us/EWA/drillingPermitDetailAction.do?methodToCall=searchByUniversalDocNo&universalDocNo=489588839&rrcActionMan=H4sIAAAAAAAAAL1Ru27DMAz8mnQURFk2snAwimZuk6AZjAyKLTgC5AcoGW0BfXxpFwVSp3M23vF0PFIJpESVQALCE1Fd1tEN_b6mppJnXPgPezHjGJTgtgjRRCvip5jCJiu3khUKN2r3ciq5zOayIee969tXS52L4W2y9PVjK5qBRRo7G69DcxyejfdM5Eg2TtQfh4M1VF-Z2qK8S1OFpVtSG8RoyHTvxk92CckZdAFaQq5nlOPFtq4PJxdnM3b7g0Gt8K1-NRYed4Twu3yBo2kt3Sz570XgXK11c1iEpBBkyvhbNcqUM1Ewcf_6Iff8BkYx2aNhAgAA
To the west of Section 9 well API 461-39677 Completion Report showed 428 Barrel Oil Per Day/596,000 MCF Gas Per Day.

From what I see most of the Horizontal wells in this area have been drilled by Pioneer Natural Resources. This is a good area to have minerals. Good luck with your minerals.

Hi, Clint
Do you have any info on wells Brook N-20B #2H and Brook N-20C #3H? Understand they are to traverse the SE/4 of Section 9, the NE/4 and the SE/4 of Section 20 (all in Upton County).
Thanks.

Hi, Clint,
I see from the W-1 forms that Pioneer Natural Resources has started drilling 46140158 and 46140159.
Their spud dates are 11/30 and 12/7. Yet they are not the GIS maps. Why? Somebody forgot them or what.
Please advise. Thanks. Rex Ling
You're correct Rex. They do not show up on the GIS Map. I just sent a reminder to the RR Commission to upgrade. Thanks for the heads up.

Hello Clint,
These two permits are now spotted in our GIS system. At the time when they came through, the location of where the permits were to be spotted were locked up and therefore, we could not spot them. You should be able to see the location of the wells in our GIS map viewer tomorrow.
Thank you.

Just wondering why wells 461-40158 and 40159 are not on the GIS Map? These two wells do have spud dates.
I see 46140158 and 46140159 are on the GIS map now. The gods of oil and gas wells must be
pleased now.
Thanks, Clint and Valerie.
