That area is outside the SCOOP play, but is prospective for Granite Wash - see Marathon's recent presentation
Thank you Dusty. Interesting....wells I hold interest in are Pongo 1-4, (which I have been told is inactive) and Brooks Hervey.
Old shallow production, but Marathon is moving into the area with horizontal wells. Could get interesting soon. If you have current production, check your lease for a depth clause. If you don't have one, then you will be held to your old lease terms. If you do have one, then you may be able to have a second lease under the shallow production.
Thank you M Barnes, These were leases that were signed year ago by my Mom or Dad. I will check with the companies holding these leases to see if they might furnish me with a copy. Do you know if I could get copies from another source?

If the lease was after January 1996 you should be able to find it here... https://okcountyrecords.com/search/stephens
Otherwise, you may have to make a trip to the Stephens County Clerk's Office if the companies holding the leases cannot send you a copy.
