Salt Water Disposal (SWD) Agreements

Have you signed a lease for a salt water drill. I need to know the ends and outs of letting a SWD inhabit my property in blk 72. And if you could tell me the average barrel output anually would be helpful and maybe the same for skimmed oil.

I would also like to know if the drill and its additional equipment will destroy my surface for I have no mineral rights.

Here is a link to an article by McFarland and Miller regarding saltwater disposal wells. The revenues can be substantial, but it depends on the volumes of water injected into the well. You need to have a good written agreement. You should consult an attorney. McFarland and Miller are with Graves Dougherty in Austin.
