Just recently received lots of court papers in this Section, trying to figure them out if anyone can help. Looks like Marathon is new “operator” in this section (previously Continental). This section currently has two wells we receive royalties on…wondering what changes may be coming with “Change of Operator” orders.

Nothing to worry about. Happens all the time.

Marathon has now been bought by Conoco Phillips so you might see another one changing the operator name to them.

If they choose to drill more infill wells, you will get additional OCC mailings for Increased Density and then the MutliUnit Horizontal well cases.
